Parish Church of St. Barbara

On the hill above the center of Rude there is the Parish Church of St. Barbara. The oldest documents date from 1622, but it is believed that the church existed even earlier. The church was build by the miners - St. Barbara is the protector of miners. It was built of stone, in the Baroque style. The main altar is made of wood, with a wooden statue of St. Barbara from 1909. There is an mechanical organ with 6 registers, built in 1913. It belongs to the opus of Antonio Melzerato and is still in use today.
